What is included when I rent a pontoon?
Every rental includes life jackets for all ages, a clean and well-maintained pontoon, a full safety briefing before departure, navigation tips, and a map of popular spots. Most boats also include Bimini shade covers, comfortable seating, and Bluetooth speakers.
How many people can fit on the boat?
It depends on the boat. Our smaller 20ft pontoons hold up to 9 guests, standard 22–23ft pontoons hold up to 12 guests, and the premium 25ft Bennington Tri-Toon holds up to 16 guests — all following Coast Guard safety guidelines.
Do I need a captain or can I drive myself?
You are welcome to drive yourself as long as you have boating experience and are 25 or older. If you don’t have experience, we can provide one of our licensed captains, just email us at boating@marker26boatrental.com or call (727) 348-5535 to arrange.
How early should I book?
We strongly recommend booking as early as possible — especially on weekends, holidays, and during busy season. Our boats fill up fast and we want to make sure you get the boat and time slot you want.
What is your cancellation policy?
We offer free cancellations up to 24 hours before your rental, and if the Florida weather has other plans on your big day, we’ll reschedule your booking and hold your full payment as a credit toward a future trip. Your adventure on the bay isn’t cancelled, just saved for sunnier skies. See our Cancellation Policy for full details.
Are there any extra fees to know about?
A security deposit is required at booking and returned within two days. Late returns are charged at a pro-rated hourly rate. Pets are welcome for a $15 per animal fee. A $300 assistance fee applies if a boat gets stuck on the water.
